Wow! Another gig in the books over the weekend as Rock Inc. returned back to Borgetti's for another round of rockin' & rollin'. Borgetti's has always been very good to us the times we've played there before & this time was no exception. They were already packed in by the time I got to the venue as there was a Poker Run that had been happening so it was bikes galore in the parking lot! As usual I got there a little early so I could partake in some of Borgetti's awesome food & get my second wind going for the show.
We got to continue our debut of some new tunes we'd recently worked up at the show, including among others Van Halen's “Women in Love” & the debut of Cry of Love's “Peace Pipe”. Both of ‘em went over real well with the crowd. Also as usual the Rock Inc. “Rock Brigade” as we’ve come to nickname our fans were out in full force, & that included some faces we hadn't seen in a minute so that's always a plus. It's never lost on me on how I always find myself feeding off the energy of the audience, and it always pushes me forward to put on the best performance I can, and Saturday was another example of that as well!
We are always grateful to everyone that continues to support us & shows up bringing the energy & bringing the noise for us to feed off of & it's always much appreciated. I think I'm still recouperating a little myself this morning, but it's all good. Now it's off to prepare for the next round, Red's 10th anniversary party!
