My love of music began at a very early age. Raised in a household by a father & mother with a love for jazz music, I was exposed to this music all the time around the household. At about age 5, I was gifted with a Beatles record, that I wore out from constant play & drove everyone else in the house crazy with it.
Then at around 10 years old, I became infatuated with hard rock & heavy metal. This became my life blood, & I've never looked back since. Though I was exposed to a lot of other types of music growing up, from pop to classical, and later to grunge, alternative, & even world music, my love for Rock & Roll has remained.
I started out as a guitarist, but then switched to bass, which ended up being my real calling I feel. After years of playing in a few basement & garage bands, around 1997 I began working on a professional level with various bands around the St. Louis area. Between 1997 to the present, I've played with local bands such as Chain of Rocks, Lanas’ X, Gun Metal Grey, 8 Years, Flannel, Radio Thief, Noisy Boyz, One Rose Rebellion, Axeticy, Retrospect, Trial and Error, and am currently playing with St. Louis acts Rock Inc. and 55 - A Tribute to Sammy Hagar. I also have been writing and recording instrumental music since 2007 and have currently released two albums of material and working on more.
I've recorded in various studios around St. Louis such as Clayton Studios, Jupiter Studios, & Native Studios. Played in venues all over the St. Louis & surrounding areas of Missouri & Illinois, and looking to expand on my musical resume'.
My current equipment lineup includes amps: Galien Krueger 8x10 & 4x10 cabs, Crate BX-4115, and Galien Krueger head unit & Ampeg PF-500. Bass guitars include a Fender Precision Bass Special (Body of a P-Bass & neck of a Jazz bass, with both pickup configurations. A frankenstein of sorts Kramer bass body with P & J pickup configuration & maple neck. Epiphone Thunderbird, Ibanez 5 String and a B.C. Rich Warlock N.J. Series.
As said before, my musical aspirations are to do this & play professionally as much as possible. I am available for recording situations, touring, soundtracks, or whatever else I can help with musically. I am also available for bass guitar lessons for anyone that’s at beginner to intermediate level playing looking for some help in learning more. Just email for details!
